This project is a contemporary extension to an existing, listed stone-built mansion. The design honors the historical identity of the original structure by introducing a lightweight, cantilevered volume (sachnisi) that extends outwards without overwhelming the historic fabric.The hand-carved stone base of the addition seamlessly matches the textures of the listed building, while the refined wooden balconies and clean-cut timber windows bring a subtle modern clarity. This intervention creates a harmonious architectural dialogue, preserving the heritage while expanding the functional living space.
